Tom Holland and Zendaya Pose Like Couple at 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Premiere
Zendaya and Tom Holland truly posed like a couple at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home last night, and Holland couldn't keep his eyes off his on-screen and off-screen partner. Red carpet photographers captured many photos of him smiling and adoringly gazing at her while they posed. Zendaya wore a gorgeous nude custom Valentino web dress, while Holland complemented her in a tan Prada suit.
Zendaya and Holland spoke to GQ in an interview published last month about the surreal experience of dating in the public eye. The interest in their romance “was quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive,” Zendaya said. “The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own… I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
Holland added that they hadn't really wanted their personal relationship to become public before a video of them making out in a car emerged this summer.
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world,” Holland said, alluding to the kissing video. “I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.”
Had Holland and Zendaya had their way, their relationship would've stayed private by choice. “I don’t think it’s about not being ready. It’s just that we didn’t want to [share it],” he said. In terms of what he does share now, “It’s not a conversation that I can have without her. You know, I respect her too much to say… This isn’t my story. It’s our story. And we’ll talk about what it is when we’re ready to talk about it together.”
